Sauce Vs. Gravy (DEBATE) – Badabing Barbershop

This is a hot topic discussion amongst Italian Americans all over the country. I have seen simple disagreements turn violent as their passion towards the tomato by product is immeasurable.

Most people call it sauce. It’s what we put on spaghetti to make it more enjoyable. The Gravy argument seems out of left field to the layman. But As our friend Jordan gets into, meat is the element that changes everything.

Some people understand that the flavor of meat in your sauces is what takes it to the next level. Whether it is Steak, Lamb, Pork or bison cooking the meat with your sauce turns it into a Gravy.
